Highlighted Events at the Stadium
TT Kidz
TT Kidz (NZ) gives children aged 6-11 a great first experience in table tennis. Programme includes a kit bag, t-shirt, bat and balls!
Start Date: Saturday 3rd August 2024, for 8 weeks (no session 17th August)

Serve, Spin, Smash! Para programme
Serve, Spin, Smash! is an 8-week Para table tennis community programme where disabled participants will experience the basics of Para table tennis in fun, safe and inclusive sessions. This programme is being provided as a collaboration between Paralympics New Zealand, Table Tennis New Zealand, Disability Sport Auckland, Parafed Canterbury, Parafed Waikato, Waitemata Table Tennis, Table Tennis Canterbury, Waikato Table Tennis. The programme uses a range of game-based activities to teach movement and hitting skills, along with adaptations needed for Para table tennis. Participants of all ages and all abilities are welcome to attend this programme, to be held as follows:

Interclub
The Term 3 Interclub competition will start again on Tuesday 23 July and run for 8 weeks. Entries close on Friday 19 July with the competition starting at 7.30pm.

Junior and Senior Coaching
The Association organises a number of coaching sessions for both juniors (under 18) and seniors that normally run across the 4 terms of the school year. These sessions are subsidised by WkTTA and those wishing to participate must become members of the Association. In addition, there is a charge for the term’s coaching and this must be paid through the event section on the membership management system (Hello Club).

Women and Girls' Tournament
Dates: 13th - 14th July 2024
Location: Palmerston North
Saturday, 9am - 6pm: Teams Competition (2-player teams)
Sunday, 9am - 4pm: Training Camp for all ages and abilities.
Team categories: Open, Social Grade, O40, Under 13, and Under 17. Players enter individually and list their teammate as their partner. If you do not have a teammate, enter ‘Partner required’ and TTNZ will place you in a team. Players do NOT have to be from the same club or association.

Waikato Open 2024
The Waikato Open is taking place on the 17 and 18 August. This will be a great weekend of table tennis. Saturday features the open, over 19, over 40, over 50, and over 60. Sunday features juniors and family doubles.
